How Much Wolfworthy to Feed Your PuppyUpdated 19 days ago

How to Work Out Your Puppy’s Feeding Amount

The amount you feed your puppy is based on their Expected Adult Weight along with their current weight. If you already know this, you can use our Feeding Calculator to get started. If your puppy is over or underweight, we recommend using their ideal current weight to calculate feeding amounts. If you’re unsure, please get in touch and we’d be happy to help.

Watch this short video for guidance on using the calculator for puppy feeding.

If You Don’t Know the Expected Adult Weight:

✔ Check the breed average online or ask the breeder for an estimate.

✔ If you have a mixed breed, use the average of the parent weights.

✔ Rescue puppies: Use their current weight and age to estimate – most medium-sized breeds are 2/3 of their adult weight at 6 months. If unsure, contact us for help.

How Often Should I Feed My Puppy?

  • Up to 4 months → 4 meals per day
  • 4-6 months → 3 meals per day
  • Over 6 months → 2 meals per day

💡 Top Tip: Hand-feeding Wolfworthy during training helps create a positive association with food.
